In San Lazzaro di Savena, on the edge of the Park, the new Museum of Prehistory “Luigi Donini” has been built since 2003, enlarged and completely renovated, it is now one of the most important museums of prehistoric archeology in Italy, equipped with the most modern and up-to-date exhibition systems . The Museum combines the rich collection of finds with large spaces dedicated to life-size reconstructions of the prehistoric civilization and fauna of the Villanovan age.
