Via del Pilastrino

A seventeenth-century pillar, restored at the beginning of the century, indicates the place where the Camaldolese Monastery of S.Cristina was located, where the Blessed Lucia da Settefonti was Abbess. Continuing towards Ciagnano, you reach an area equipped by the Park, where the panorama opens towards the north on the plain and on the imposing formation of the Abbadessa gullies and, towards the south, on the Idice valley and a vast stretch of the Bolognese Apennines.
