Honey

The golden ambrosia of nature
Amber colored, from light gold to ruddy brown; variably dense consistency, sometimes crystallized; genuine taste, beneficial and soothing. It's honey, a product used since ancient times as natural sweetener and rich nutritious food. Symbol of an ancient alliance between man and the industrious bee, honey is the result of a long work whose stages are entirely followed by beekeepers: from pollination to the final extraction, there is almost a ritual of observation and knowledge of the mysteries of the beehive.

The genuineness of the product is the one and only element the honey varieties of Corno alle Scale share: as far as fragrance, consistency, and taste are concerned, each flower species produces a different kind of honey with particular nutritional, organoleptic, and even pharmacological features. For instance, Acacia Honey is the favorite honey of children for its delicate taste and liquid consistency for which it is considered an ideal natural sweetener.
Together with Orange and Citrus Fruits Honey and French Honeysuckle Honey, it has sore throat lenitive properties and is one of the best varieties to use at table. Chestnut honey is particularly rich in microelements, while a special honey calming and protecting the respiratory tract is obtained from Eucalyptus and Lime Tree. The virtues of this extraordinary product are really surprising: for instance, Sunflower Honey contributes to regulate cholesterol levels. Without a doubt, the most widespread honey of the Apennines is the Mountain Mixed Flower Honey: ideal to spread on bread for a tasty and energy-giving breakfast, easily digestible, useful for the liver, and detoxicant. A real panacea for your well-being.
