The sandstones of the main reliefs

Most of the mountains in the park are modeled in sandstones, as can be seen along the larger outcrops that characterize the western slopes of Monte Calvi and that of Stagno, in which layers of beige, brown and gray can be seen, highlighted by the selective erosion that affects the less cemented levels, formed by sandy granules, more rapidly.
